Upon graduating from the University of Maryland in 1986 with a degree in Criminal Justice, I began a ten year career as an investigator with the Department of Defense. In 1996 I made the decision to leave the Federal Government in order to develop my expertise as a domestic engineer. In 2004, I began a new career as office manager/assistant designer at an interior design firm which proved essential to my decision to become a licensed real estate agent. Jean Pirovic's superior sales skills persuaded me to join her, and Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc. as her full time licensed assistant in 2007.
My role involves managing all of the components of each of our real estate transactions, preparation of listing and sales contracts, updating websites, analyzing statistics, managing feedback from cooperating agents, preparing marketing analyses, and assisting in property showings. My experience in interior design has played a vital part in my ability to assist Jean in staging her homes, and to assist prospective purchasers in visualizing a home's potential.
